Paul is our former pupil barrister and now a tenant having commenced his ‘first six’ in January 2020, having been called to the Bar in 2016 by Inner Temple. Paul joins Rowchester from a Legal 500 Solicitors in Liverpool, where as a paralegal, he represented clients in all aspects of Family Law, including Private Children and Public care proceedings. Paul also backed Counsel and QC’s in the Royal Courts of Justice on several Hague Convention abduction cases. He also has significant experience in Landlord and Tenant matters, representing tenants and homeowners on the Court Duty Scheme in the East Midlands and Housing Associations, particularly in serious Anti-Social Behaviour matters in the North West.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Paul was a commercial pilot, having flown in Europe, USA and Africa, providing a unique insight in Aviation Law and procedure, being a founder member of the Society for Aviation Lawyers. Bringing a calm presence to his cases, clients can be reassured that he is able to address all concerns and address all problems during hearings and trials when he is ready to receive instructions.

Paul’s family work also includes but is not limited to serious care work at all levels, not only for domestic abuse victims, but representing the children’s guardian. He also hears cases within the Court of protection. He has a reputation for client care, with an approachable manner outside of Court and persuasive advocacy within it.

Paul’s practice will be in Family, Crime, Immigration, Landlord and Tenant, Aviation and Civil Law matters.
