Haroon began his career at the bar with Rowchester Chambers. In his first six he was instructed on a noting brief for one of the largest ever Construction Industry and Sub-Contract labour frauds with over 20 defendants resulting in 3 trials due to the sheer size. The case involved a sophisticated conspiracy to cheat the Revenue of Income Tax, Corporation Tax and National Insurance Contributions. The case has been classified as a VHCC (Very High Cost Case).

Haroon is experienced in all aspects of immigration and asylum law. He has a great interest in the points based system. Haroon is instructed throughout all levels of the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal. Haroon has experience in immigration acting for the Home Office as well as the Appellants; he has been instructed by the Home Office since January 2014.

As a member at Rowchester Chambers, Haroon has assisted in a wide range of cases. He is experienced in drafting Judicial Review Grounds, Permission to Appeal and Submissions for country guidance cases.

Prior to coming to the bar Haroon worked in a solicitors practice as a paralegal.

Haroon is fluent in various different languages including Urdu, Punjabi and Mirpuri.
